1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to thedigitalyug.com and its sub-pages (the "Site"), operated by Core I Solutions, a sole proprietorship based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ("DigitalYug", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Anyone may read the Site. To create an author account or post comments you must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
2. Using the Site
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access the Site for your own non-commercial use. You may share links to our stories and quote short extracts with a clear credit and link to the original story.
You may not, without our written permission:
- copy, republish, sell, rent or commercially exploit our content or the Site;
- modify, decompile or reverse-engineer any part of the Site;
- use the Site to build a similar or competing service;
- use bots, scrapers or other automated tools that ignore our robots.txt or put an unreasonable load on our servers.
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Site at any time.
3. Our content
All content on the Site — text, images, videos, graphics, logos and the DigitalYug name — belongs to DigitalYug or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark laws. Copyright notices on the Site must not be removed.
4. Author accounts and submitted stories
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything published from it.
- You keep the copyright in stories you write. By submitting a story you give DigitalYug a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish, edit for length, clarity and accuracy, translate, promote and archive it on the Site and on our social media and video channels.
- You confirm that your story is your original work, is factually accurate to the best of your knowledge, does not copy anyone else's work and does not break any law. You must disclose any payment or relationship with a person or company you write about.
- Our editors may edit, reject or remove any story at their discretion, following our ethics and fact-checking policies.
5. Comments and other user content
You are responsible for anything you post. Comments are moderated and may be edited, refused or removed. By posting you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your comment on the Site. Do not post links, phone numbers or promotions; repeated or copy-pasted comments are blocked automatically.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Site to post or share content that:
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or any other right of another person;
- is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, hateful, threatening or promotes violence or discrimination;
- is harmful to children;
- is false or deliberately misleading, impersonates someone, or is spam or unsolicited advertising;
- contains viruses or malicious code, or tries to gain unauthorised access to the Site or other users' data;
- breaks any law in force in India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it.
We may remove such content, suspend or close accounts, and report illegal activity to the authorities.
7. Advertising, sponsored content and third-party links
The Site shows ads from Google and other partners and may contain sponsored stories, which are always labelled. The Site also links to other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party ads, products, websites or their privacy practices; your dealings with them are between you and them.

9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise that the Site will always be available, error-free or secure, or that the content is complete, accurate or up to date.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DigitalYug will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, data or business, arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11. Indemnity
If you break these Terms or the law, or if your content infringes someone's rights, you agree to compensate DigitalYug for reasonable losses, costs and legal fees caused by third-party claims arising from it.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account, or block your access to the Site, if you break these Terms. You may stop using the Site or ask us to close your author account at any time. Sections 3, 4 (licence for published stories), 9, 10, 11 and 15 continue to apply after termination.

How we collect and use personal data, and how you can control cookies, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
14. Copyright complaints and grievances
To report content that infringes your rights, follow the process in our Disclaimer. For any other complaint about content on the Site, contact our Grievance Officer at [email protected] or by post at 56, Vishwa Nagar, New Sanganer Road, Sodala, Jaipur, Rajasthan – 302019. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when they last changed. Important changes will be announced on the Site. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
