Dhiraj Kumar is a famous movies director who has now stepped into Bollywood with “Kaashi - In Search of Ganga” and is ready for his second project. He was born and brought up in a middle-class family where his parents were not open about their son becoming inclined towards the film industry. Not that he had planned to be a part too. Kumar was born to Mr. Rajendra Prasad in Patna, Bihar, on October 26th, 1975. He was from a typical middle-class family but still saw high dreams. Dhiraj Kumar completed his education in Patna, and not many know that Dhiraj was a scholar and completed his graduation in Commerce from Patna. He didn’t go for higher education as he was instilled with his dreams to pursue a career in the film industry.

- Starting the Journey - Elaan Director Dhiraj Kumar commenced his career with his movie Elaan that premiered in 2011. It was set up starring the famed actor from Ashiqui, Rahul Roy. The co-actors were Manoj Tiwari and Lovy Rohtagi. That was an instant hit as it was well appreciated and welcomed by both the audience and the critics.
- Starting Film Production House – Insite India Followed by Elaan, Director Dhiraj Kumar confidently moved on to his second venture with a movie titled Sabse Bada Mujrim in 2013. Anand Ojha, Kajal Raghwani, and Rahul Roy. His production named Insite India came into play in 2018. Director Dhiraj Kumar was both the founder and head of his production house. He utilized his resources in producing mostly films and television projects.
- Bollywood Debut – Kashi, In Search of Ganga, His first Hindi feature film, Kashi, In Search of Ganga, was released in October 2018. It starred renowned Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi, followed by co-actors Govind Namdev, Aishwarya Devan, Manoj Pahwa, Manoj Joshi, and Akhilendra Mishra. This movie was released under the banner of his own house, Insite India production.
- Future Plans - Suswagatam Khushamadeed His future work front is still under construction. He would be venturing Suswagatam Khushamadeed is yet to start. This movie stars Bollywood actor Pulkit Samrat with co-star Priyanka Singh, and the locations are extensively chosen to be kept mostly in Delhi and Lucknow. Director Dhiraj Kumar is all set to start his post-production of this movie along with his production house Insite India.
